Jurassic Wave Glass Sculpture

This striking fused glass wave sculpture captures the raw energy and elegance of the sea in motion. Handcrafted from layered glass in rich tones of deep cobalt, turquoise, and seafoam, the piece evokes the moment a wave crests, just before it breaks, frozen in time. The interplay of translucent and opaque fragments creates depth and movement, allowing light to pass through and subtly shift the sculpture’s appearance throughout the day.

Each element has been carefully arranged and kiln-fused to achieve a natural, flowing form, with textured shards suggesting the churn and spray of ocean water. Mounted on a solid wooden base featuring the Jurassic Coast logo and the artist's signature.

Created by Hazel Harper in her Dorset studio, this piece is entirely unique.
